I have the Enigmah video switch program loaded in my Xbox and I've used it a few times to get a few games running.

I was just wondering.. is it bad to be doing this? Am I damaging my Xbox in some way? Is there any sort of risk I'm running everytime I switch video modes?

And if the Xbox supports both modes, why the heck would they lock one? To make more money or what?

I think it's fine to switch. They probably lock it because it does look slightly different/worse when I switch my xbox to NTSC.
