Yeah, I've been a nineties games, but on the PC. Most of these are unknown to me, only the really iconic stuff stands out for me (Mario, Zelda, etc) and those that are from cartoons (TMNT, Animaniacs, etc).

No , no , etc. Meh.

I managed to get 55 out of 93 before finally having to think of using hints Sad Some of the tunes I *know* but I just can't put my finger on them.. sigh. Most of the ones I didn't know were actually Megadrive games - I loved my MD but always preferred the SNES \o/

Aero the Acro-Bat cost me four goddamned hints and the screenshot because I kept typing "Aero the Acrobat" instead and was almost convinced I was wrong Mad Stupid name.

93/93 So Much Win I had to google for the last three because they're HIDDEN questions! You can only find them via cheatcodes on certain games, Sonic and Gradius I knew (everyone knows the Sonic and Konami cheatcodes) but didn't know Chuck Rock Sad I can't for the fucking life of my find the emeralds though Sad Are you supposed to click the TV screen for certain games? :\

~edit~

HAHAHA! They're actually smaller, hidden, clickable sprites in certain games grinhurt Done it all! Sadly the final achievement is bugged, I've got 100% of the unlocks but Achievement 22 (Get 100%) doesn't open.

Not a lot of these games were on atari, amiga or PC, which were the platforms I used. No wing commander? No leisure suit larry? No Police Quest? Space Quest, etc. - fuck you console faggots! Very Happy

Nice find Mutanius! Anyone remember how deceptive Ecco the Dolphin 1,2 was? Those were some of the most depressing games I had played on my old genesis.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

The hilarious thing is... "cheevos!11" didn't even exist back then, lol. Back then just beating the game was considered an achievement and, in certain games, accomplishing specific tasks actually had impact on the game itself rather than some bullshit gamerscore.

I counted a few Miggy titles, sucks to be you that didn't SNES, Amiga, PS1 ... my all-time favourite machines (in that order Very Happy) How many of you here have trekked 16 miles to walk to a carboot sale in order to find a copy of a game you played a demo of? Dreamweb "David Crane murder" demo as a coverdisk on one of my Miggy mags ... I played that, fell in love, walked 16 miles to the nearest carboot sale to buy the 5 floppy bootleg.

When I was 11.

Booya! ^_^

Yeah, I had that too... they actually have the game as "StarFox" with no space >_< Hating the current PS360 generation I completely understand, but this irrational hatred of any console is really quite bizarre, if you ask me. The videogaming world as we know it was created for consoles, ever since the first arcade machines began being ported to Vectrex, Atari, Colleco .. consoles were always primary. The NES, Master System, Megadrive, SNES, Gameboy -- those were the awesome machines. Hating on those is just... *shrug* whatever dudes My fondest childhood memories came from systems like the C64, Amiga, SNES, NES.

In all fairness though, that flash game was skewed more towards Megadrive/Genesis than anything else. The majority of games were MD titles.. meh.

That's one of the very games I'm talking about when I said "beating them is an achievement" Capcom are fucking epic trolls for how mercilessly difficult GnG was Very Happy For all the so-called "gamers" around here, go ahead; try and beat Ghosts 'n Goblins.

I'll wait Very Happy

Guess i didn't pay too much attention to the music back then, guessed all the ones i bought a screenshot on though. I want a screenshot version instead!

I had a Sega Master System 2 with built in Alex the Kid in Wonderland, it rocked. Most memorable game from that was Golden Axe Warrior, a Zelda clone. It was the game that started me on learning english, i sat with a dictionary and looked up the words Smile

<3 Golden Axe Warrior. Another MS/GG title I loved was Dragon Crystal So Much Win

@toni

Yeah but that's just it, it wasn't an arbitrary "unlock!!" it was something you accomplished and then were able to brag about and discuss with your mates. You didn't need a little note on your profile telling everyone Very Happy

I can say the same, just not for these games. I still hum the music from Goblins 3, Elite2 (although that's mostly well known orchestral scores in contemporary computer format), SimCity2000, Transport Tycoon, etc. Very Happy
