So since that in the artwork looks like Earth I guess this might be a prequel to Serious Sam 3 then?
(Since the entire population got "mooned" by Mental in SS3 and Sam entered the Timelock.)
More like the first quarter, not half. And no fucking thanks, this is what Croteam does best, Serious Sam. I'm glad to see they're doing yet another one as SS3 was a perfect example of how much an oldschool shooter should be modernized. Where's that SS2 remake though?! Did they manage to do anything with that so far?

Well, that would make sense, since what happens after SS3 are the previous games, aren't they? This would be a prequel to a prequel I guess, hehe.

Remember the final level area in Second Encounter?
I often replay it. Sometimes me and my friend sometimes to gather few other player to play it on custom insane setting. Madness. Croteam knew how to deliver it.
I want madness in SS4. I didn't dislike SS3, but it was... something different. Better than SS2 but still an experiment.
Yeah I would like a new IP from them, but if you guys hate their games why would you anything (old or new IP) from them?
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."

"Like Nothing On Earth"
First part of SS3 did seem boring. Initially. Once you play the game and get a feel what it's about, I was happy to come back and replay the city missions. Bring on SS4!
A new episode of Guy Cocker's Video Games Podcast talks with Curve Digital and Facepalm Games about plans to bring The Swapper to Vita, PS3 and PS4, but during the conversation game writer Tom Jubert also drops word that he's working with Croteam to create the narrative for a new IP from the Serious Sam developer. This is all still unannounced, but Tom offers the following vague tease of the new project:
Quote:
"I think this is actually a genuine sort of exclusive, because I don't think this is public knowledge yet, but Croteam is working on their first new franchise since the original Serious Sam in 2001. Which is exciting, 'cause I've always been [eager] to see what those guys would actually do with resources and all of that experience and all they've done is Sam, and they're doing something completely new, which I am working on... so that's ongoing now [and]... should be out at some point later this year."
they should end this ip.... still need to play ss3 but from what I've played the gunplay is as weak as in every ss
