Well trying to install win7 here and it can't detect the SSD during win7 install.
Strange thing is that i can see it in windows itself (when running on HDD) and i can use it, i see it in bios as well.
But it just won't detect it during install, controller is set to AHCI and i did use the correct pre-install drivers..
It can see the other HDD's connected to the same controller, i did try other cables and other ports.
Another odd thing is, that when i select browse for the driver during install, i get the SSD in the list of devices i can select for the driver folder.. Confused

Since i used the mobo at other clients, i know that it SHOULD work properly with SSD.
So could this be a faulty board then? Everything indicates to it.

Tried all the above, and yes, meant the SATA controller Razz
I can see the SSD everywhere, except during windows install when i have to select the drive.

But i did read that more people have this problem with this mobo, so i might just advise to trade it in for another one.

Odd, their other Vertex 3 SSD does get detected (and the one that doesn't work in this, works in theirs.)
So i might just clone their other one and swap them.

Really odd tho Confused
