Can u play Xbox live when u have a chipped xbox, if you can, can you only play ur retail games or can u play the ones u have downloaded too?
Does it mathers which chip you got, what dashboard you got?
Could anybody answer these questions and maybe give some info about
Xbox live + chip

It doesn't matter which chip you own. The chip has to be disabled before you connect to Live. That means you can't play your backups with Live.
However, I've heard there are alternatives to Live.
Another thing I've heard is people being banned when they've not had their chip switched on. A few people think that MS are checking to see if the hard drive in the xbox is in it's original form. If not then they know it's chipped. Banned.

okey, but as u say an alternative to live, isnt that other servers. i know a guy talked about cracked servers for people with chip but i didnt have xbox then so i didnt care, so anybody knws anything about these servers
