So been seeing this girl for 6 months now, shes really great and smart and one of the kindest people I've ever met.
Problem is she works at a mental institue and on top of that has had a troublesome childhood where she was bullied in school alot. She was burned out a year ago and has only recently gotten back to work full time. Though you can really see that shes struggling to mantain any kind of normality, often looking pale as a ghost when I meet her after work.
I've tried to be real supportive, been there for her, not tried to push her into seeing me, given her space and so on but Im starting to feel tired of this. As much as I care for her I have my own needs, I need someone to be with, to laugh with and just share the moment with without too much drama. Something tells me this girl is worth fighting for, but my logical side tells me even if she gets over this hurdle in her life she'll have further problems down the road and whos to say she wont just pick up her stuff and leave one day out of the blue because she cant take it anymore...
What Im trying to say is that I dont feel I can trust her emotional state. I keep seeing scenes of Kramer vs Kramer in my head, and what might happen if theres a kid in the picture one day...
I dont love her as in mad over the heels but I feel like we're both fighters, that we've fought our entire lives and the thing thats brough us together is the idea of a future happy family life eventhough that seems like a distant dream right now.
Im not really looking for advise, but if you guys wanna comment, share your thoughts then please go ahead.
Also I've already fucked her in the butt several times, shes fingered my ass aswell so we've gone down that road already...

We've spoken about getting together and being more serious but right now theres no energy on her part. Shes just trying to survive work and everything. She has said she doesent feel anything, for life for work etc and Im kinda thinking shes about to hit the wall again.
Why must everything be so difficult, why cant you just meet someone and share the silence for a while. No drama, no bullshit just relaxation and positive energy...

Have you been with swedish women? They're kinda different than most, but I cant speak for all swedish women, some are very needy. This girl isnt like that though, she needs lots of space, needs to shut off everything sometimes. I can see it on her face, and shes said it to me on several occasions. Which is fine because I need space aswell so its kinda a relief not having someone texting you all the fucking time. But right now its like shes a different person, all the joy and happiness has left her and shes just void of emotions.

She's seeing a shrink on and off but he hasnt been able to help her much. I think she just needs to look for some other kind of work. I dont know why she picked this profession considering her past, but she has a genuine interest in helping people...
I dont know the english word for her job at the institute but shes a kinda curator, she helps people with psycological issues to get back into society, helps them out with their paperwork, family issues and so on. Very heavy stuff, alot of the people in this line of work quit after a few years because of the stress involved.

Well therapy to work you need to be consistent AND find someone that's right for you. Its admirable that she likes helping others but helping them on account of your own health is wrong. I don't know your girlfriend and i could be wrong but people who overdo it with helping others a lot of times can't help themselves. Basically they spend all there energy on others hoping it will help them or they spend all there energy on others, so they don't have to deal with themselves. The fact she was bullied kinda fits in nicely...
Ok i'm getting a bit abstract here, sorry about that. I would suggest talking with her, telling her what you think, telling her she should change her job fast and that while you are supportive and understand her troubles there's a certain limit to what you can take.

I think social worker is the correct term? And it may be possible she actually enjoys (in a weird way) working there even if she's totally drained by it.

I dont want to be the klingy needy person in this relationship. Id rather not see her again than be like that. And shes definetly worth the trouble. Like I said, shes one of the kindest most varmhearted woman I've ever known.
Its true what you wrote xxax, shes one of those people who would rather help others than focus on her own problems which is kinda the issue here tbh. I've spoken with her about changing her job, that she an come stay with me for a while and figure out what she wants to do. But again its like speaking to def ears. She has her pride, and that pride is one of the things I really like about her. Shes very independent, her history has made her humble and a very good listener. A person with modest taste etc
I've been down this road before, have been with girls with troubled backgrounds so I kinda know whats waiting. Also while I wrote before about wanting a quiet relationship isnt entirely true as I like the fact that we both have little bit of drama in our lives, that we can speak about really deep stuff and exchange past experiences and learn from each other.
Im rambling on, the bottom line is my heart and mind are at war right now. My heart says stay with her and be there for her, while my mind says theres plenty of fish in the water. Just throw back this one and continue fishing...
Two fingers feels abit better, I like the feel of my ass getting stretched but deep penetration isnt for me because of mentioned sphincter...
