Thank fuck, finally a good release for us cheap bastards who haven't splashed out on the X-Box 360 ...
This game looks great, a mix of Final Fantasy and Zelda, where you paint your enemies ?!? This and the forthcoming Final Fantasy and the new game from the makers of Dragon Quest 8/Dark Cloud 2 will tide me over until my xmas bonus and a X-Box 360

Anyone know what group released the usa version of okami?, i can see "et-okami" but it makes no mention of what language this is - should i grab this one or not?

No, widescreen and 480p support isn't there, but given the sheer amount of goodness it contains, it doesn't matter all that much.... the game is still beautiful to look at, and extremely fun and satisfying to play.
Please people, BUY this game, even if you can't right now, do it when its cheaper at the very least... games like this NEED the support!

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

You're right. While your character can, does and has to jump on/over things on occasion, it's hardly a platformer. I'd say it's 40% adventure, 40% action, 10% RPG, and 10% platforming if that. Haven't played Zelda, but it does sound similar.
