Not sure if you guys ever snagged this, but it;s the best 3d pinball game on the pc, and it's free.

http://www.futurepinball.com/

After installing, look for the 3 Angels table just released, and for Big Spender.. both tables are amazing.

Sweet, gonna try this. Shame that there isn't as many pinball games released as back in the day, I remember I used to LOVE Psycho Pinball, don't even dare to guess how many hours I wasted on that game. Very Happy

Actually there are a hundered or so tables currently available.. including all the old amiga pinball Fantasy ones!

3 Angels though is just amazing.. I keep discovering more and more things the table has to offer.. it has a lot of "secret" bonuses, music and effects, which you don;t experience until your game improves.

Addams family was done for visual pinball a few years ago, and both are free and readily available to download and play.

Visual pinball just isn't as high tech advanced as future pinball is.

Haven't seen it before! It is the best pinball ever! I loved Big Race, but all of those tables and the editor! WOW! Thanks so much for posting this. My old favorite, spirit of '76, is the best version I've ever seen on this software.

Yeah it's pretty amazing.. and many of the tables have a lot to learn to them as well.

Also, if you load a table that does NOT have scrolling available, hit the s key once it's initialized, and that table will always have scrolling enabled.

I personally prefer the scrolling 2 setting.

These guys who made Future Pinball were the creators for Pro Pinball.. There's a ton of tables for this thing.. check the forum for custom Pinball setups using LCD monitors and making a pinball machine.. shit is dam cool!

Umm... but no, you're wrong. Guy(s) behind Future Pinball haven't been involved with any of the Pro Pinball games in any way.

About Future Pinball tabels, I don't see any ramps?! Probably don't have animated dot matrix displays with video modes either? Kind of basic in that regard.

I like all the little details with Pro Pinball. Starting with the manual which is written like a real pinball manual to the in game operator menus plus all the other features from the modern pinball games. And still looks great(for obvious reasons) for a 10 year old game. Timeshock might look worst out of the 3 but it's the best gameplay and ruleset wise.

Yeah they have ramps, and multiple levels.

While they don't support rom based dot matrix animations, they do support full motion animations.

Well i got the Adams family for Visual. i was pretty impressed actually.

You don;t know how many times I have thought about actually buying this table... till i got serious about it one day and discovered it's one of the most popular tables there was.
Those things get RIDICULOUSLY expensive.
But, visual pinball does a good job of simulating it. I downloaded Pacman's versions and tried them all and admittedly ended up spending more time on them than I thought I would.
Does visual pinball not support High Score keeping?
That kinda takes some of the fun out of it.

Haven't grabbed those two.. I'll have to add them to my collection.

EDIT: Ah, visual pinball... I've moved on to future pinball personally now.

BTW, my high score on 3 angels is now 58,000 or so. Wink

I have downloaded both. I haven't ever tried either one (visual or future) so it is all new to me.

Both visual and future save high scores.

It also looks like someone is looking at the possibility of online play as well! THAT could be pretty nifty,

from what i am reading about Future Pinball, it is impossible to make an Adams Family table because it doesn't support the needed functions (like magnets and what not).

But, i am sure it will eventually.

Anyone ever play the microsoft pinball game? Had some neat tables.

http://www.microsoft.com/Games/pinball/tables.htm

I got one for my mom years ago call 3D Ultra pinball Creepnight. That's a really fun one but isn't anything like a real pinball table.

I finally got to play it last night on my home rig. It was just too laggy on my work laptop, but looks beautiful with a good gaming rig. There are tons and tons of tables you can get as well. Playing Cyclone again was awesome. There were some silly ones, but the whole package is a pinball machine creation application, so the possibilities are limitless. Great stuff for sure, esp. for us old school gamers who used to actually spend time in the arcades Smile

Crashes at atioglxx.dll Sad 9.7 drivers and I won't install newer ones until 10.1 is out, because 9.8-9.12 keep crashing my comp with certain games. Anyone else experienced similar problems with ATI cards?

Also, can anyone find their forum, or something, to get support?
