Well my Sensei broke again:

So i contacted their support and asked them specific questions, because this was the second one that had problems within 6 months..
All i got back where stupid copy/paste answer that where totally unrelated to what i asked.
So i asked them if "that was how they treat a customer that's not happy about a product" and then my account got closed without any warning or what so ever.

Fucking pieces of shit is what they are, i made one last effort to contact their HQ via mail and told them that i was going to report them to the European Consumer Centre if they are not going to properly help me, since at this moment, they are violating EU laws by refusing to give me support on a bought product of theirs.

For now i recommend everyone to stay away from this POS company with their POS support.

I had the same thing, dont know if you remember that "left click is easier than right click" post I had.
I got the same thing, canned, totally useless replies. I think it was them seeing how long I would keep replying to automated useless ticket responses before i gave up.

So I still got the mouse, and still got the ultra easy left click problem.

Don't they have something in the US that you can report this to and they get fined and forced to help you? Confused

Logitech is so much better - create a ticket, describe problem and they send you a new mouse as long as you give them the serial number.

Im sure they do, but the hassle of the process of doing that, I could just buy another mouse and be done with it. I am lazy, hate waiting, and having to deal with companies/complaint/whatever people. I'm not really a people person...well not a 'stranger I am forced to talk to' type person.
Im sure me NOT reporting it and going thru the process is just encouraging the problem with them.

I think the only 2 things Id actually follow up and involve 3rd parties in for help with if the seller didn't accommodate me would be a house or car..haha. Otherwise I just dont buy them anymore.
I'm the type of person "mail in rebates" are made with in mind..they KNOW I wont go into the hassle of mailing that shit off for $40.

But im not buying steelseries again, and sure as hell wont recommend them to friends. when I spend $90 on a mouse, I expect it to be immaculate in performance...it wasn't.

What the hell do people do with their hardware for this to happen? Laughing
Or am I just lucky that this has never happened to me (aside from my 4890 and that was almost after 2 years)? Confused

Better tip: Call them, mail gets taken lightly by most company's.
Worked every time for me at least.

Well the bitching payed off.
After bitching on their FB page, i got to talk to some other guys following the page, explained them what happened.
Out of the blue a wild Steelseries employee appeared and got rid of the ban on my account and opened a new ticket.
Now they want to send me a new mouse and a QcK mousepad.

Tho i'm happy that they want to solve it like this, it still doesn't answer my main question.
So i asked them again and now they offered me (since they can't promise it won't happen again) to let me trade it in for another Steelseries product of choice.
But since my peripherals are already quite good (and expensive), i don't see the need to replace anything from that..

So what would you guys suggest that i should do? Take a new mouse and be with same coating issue in a few months from now or get another product instead and buy myself another brand mouse after a few months of saving up?
If i should replace, what should i replace then? You can check my peripherals in my sig link.

I checked on their mice... I wouldn't take any of them. Maybe that WoW Wireless mouse and then re-sell it again to buy a proper mouse Laughing

Kinda the same as what i was thinking.
No way one of their keyboards can replace my G19, especially not now that i'm used to having another display with temps/usage etc etc..
Neither for headsets.. my current one is already 7.1 and the only shit thing about it is the cable.. Don't see them having a wireless 7.1, plus it would be almost double the price of the mouse..
