I think they are taking the Bethesda approach to reveals which is a great thing I feel. The Evil Within 2 was revealed during E3 2017 and released just 4 months later 
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I agree, it would've been better if they said: "Ok, from now on we will suddenly announce new games 2 months before release. That is all. kthxbye."

I could list all the things that I would like to see in the new entry, but it would be a pointless effort. They'd just be foolish dreams of a nostalgic dinosaur who can't appreciate the seamless cinematic thrills of visceral next gen adventures and wants his rewarding exploration and challenging platforming back, all unfeasible burdens.
More realistically, I just hope there will be a decent number of actual tombs and basic puzzles among all the silly automation (Rise was already an improvement over the first emoreboo in my opinion, but still not enough  ), and possibly a story that doesn't make you want to skip the cutscenes but that would probably be too much to ask, although no Rhianna is good news.
Had more fun playing the single Dagger of Xian fan remake level than the two nuRaiders combined  |
