I used to love the dizzy games, they were the best back in the day.
Anyway theer is a remake out in a couple days 09/12/11

There was already a thread about this, but the damned search is broken. However, as was mentioned in the other thread; no PC version. It even states the platforms on the main page; iPad/iPhone/Android.

Yay for having an iDevice grinhurt

Me too though i was not so much of a fan of some efforts like quick snacks dizzy.
But i did love bubble dizzy and dizzy down the rapids.

It's quite saddening to read that there are gamers who haven't even HEARD of Dizzy, let alone never played Sad We really are getting old.

I remember playing one of the Dizzy games when I was a kid. I also remember the game as being quite weird Laughing.

Great days with the Dizzy games

I remember having to buy the collection just to get Prince of the Yolkfolk, which they later released as a standalone, bastards Sad

Treasure Island Dizzy on the Spectrum 128k had digitized speech, the guy actually said "Treasure Island Dizzy" it was amazing back then

Dizzy 1 did come free with an Xmas copy of a Speccy mag back in the day, which was nice

This never came out on the platforms I was saddled with - BBC & Archimedes - so I had to make do with playing it on infrequent trips to see my aunt and uncle. Can't wait to get me hands on this tomorrow!

i played it Very Happy never finished it though Crying or Very sad i remember playing it when i was like 7 then getting frustrated and then loading up flag and race and then go outside \o/

Most people didn't finish it, heh, the Dizzy games were famed for their difficulty levels. Still awesome though (and yes, I finished them PC Master Race << or should that be :c64: or :amiga: ? Laughing)
