Konami's PES 2013 website is now live. While initially there was nothing in place other than a black background, upon viewing the source of the page, we noticed the following search engine optimisation key words:
Quote:
"pro evo soccer, trailer, teaser, announcement, cr7, cristiano ronaldo"
If I remember correctly I did see some improvement in pes2012, they should catch up to fifa by pes2023, at this rate anyway.
True that, PES 2012 was surprisingly enjoyable despite the really old engine+robotic animations system. Like I said some time ago, it's probably the best PES since PES6 for me, but still..there's incredible room for improvement. A new engine is needed but at this point I think they'll just wait for the next generation of consoles.
they need to stop this.
create a new game, with a new engine, new name, good online support without lag and ofc all the license.
why release shit like this anyway? who gonna buy this? clearly not for online gaming.
so why should i buy it? bet konami has to pay alot of money to keep this series alive every year.
Why new name? If they rename it, they will lose most of their fanbase. But they should indeed create a new engine instead of rehashing the same shit (and rehashing the same ridiculous descriptors every year).
Also, @ teaser trailer for trailer date for game that will look exactly like last 5 games.

because pes stands for ugly graphics, bad online gaming, no license and nerdy modders
Why should they, people will buy it anyway. It's normal for sports titles to contain absolutely minimal innovation. I can't even name all of my friends who pre-order PES months prior to release, without even knowing what will and what won't be improved. As long as the consumer accepts it, there's no reason to change. It has been like this since I played my first sports game and it'll continue like this forever. Developing a sports games must be one of the most lucrative genres, a yearly profit is guaranteed for minimal effort.

Yes, that's true, but if EA did it, you know things are bad.
But that's true, as long as they have the hurrdurr drones to go an buy every year, they don't really have to bother.
