Tried to run it on the pc via an emulator, it worked pretty well actually but never got into it, game had some shadow problems.

I liked the first one when I played it on Dreamcast. But didn't this series cost a shitload of money to make? I think a third game would be out of the realm of Kickstarter, unless they did something like Serellan and only funded a demo to pitch to publishers.

As opposed to what else? Downloading an ISO + emulator? If it works on my old shitty laptop, it'll work on anything else made in the past few years with a decent integrated chip |
Yes. Downloading, setting it up, playing on a computer. It's not a PC franchise, so a great percentage of its fanbase will not ever consider this option due to its perceived difficulty.
