Well, its probably somewhat different for PC games, considering that PC games in Eastern block are considerably cheaper

hmm.. that graph shows average US wage as 12 pounds, which is roughly 18 usd... average new game in the US is 50 usd?, 50 / 18 = 2.8 hours per game, which puts them up with denmark...
wonder how they came to those figures.
actually reading from the comments, sounds like plenty of others are chiming in that their figures are bs

lol i have to work two weeks to buy a game and that's if i get at least 30 hours per week.
but if it were to go hour by hour w/o any real life expenses... then i'd need to work 6 hours.
so that less than 4 hours... is pretty much for anyone making more than minimum wage here in canada... and a lot of kiddy gamers, and grown up gamers who lost a decent job and have to work at the bottom just so they don't go homeless... make minimum wage
USA is worse tho. wtf. that graph is stupid and it should feel stupid.

I would have to work 31 hours to buy a brand new 59.90 eu game. And I work in outsourced UK IT support center. someone who works for minimum wage will have to work for 8+ days in order to be able to afford the same game.
so yeah, i pirate games.

~1/3-1/2 a day for an Israeli-priced PC game
Good thing I buy on Steam in USD where prices are 2/3 of their Israhell counterpart.

But on topic: One of the reasons I don't use consoles, stupid game prices.
And the fact that consoles are shit these days, no good games.

The average wage for Finland is way off, it's more like 8€ to 10€ for a regular job.

If I would have to buy a full priced new game for console that is about right for Poland. For new PC game is around 6 hours of my work (procastrination and slacking).
