Very nice games listed there. It's incredible how fast the time is running these days. There is one that sticks out of the heap for me. Empire earth 2. I haven't played a decent rts in a long time. Act of war was ok but it felt to much like C&C Generals.

From the most wanted to the less most wanted:
TrackMania Sunrise (Tested the Beta Demo and the official Demo, very good, liked the original TrackMania also very much, only bad thing that is probably using SF3, but with RELOADED Gonna buy the game anyway)
Stronghold 2 (Stronghold 1 and expension rocked, and should be better)
Still Life (Very good, played the demo, from makers of Syberia)
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (Played the demo too, although I didn't liked SC1 and SC2 so much, here you can shoot like crazy, so now I like it )
Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil (Doom 3 was a bit disappointing, but this should be better)
Bad games:
SWAT 4 (Played the demo, and it sucked hard, the team was listening not good etc, maybe the orginal game will be better)
Guild Wars (Played the game, too bad graphics, bad spawnpoint system, had 2 serials for the last beta test...)
Empire Earth II (Played the demo also, too bad for words, complete Age Of Empires I ripoff, and AOE I had better gameplay and graphics, better wait for Age Of Empires III)

Lol, am I the only one who thinks EE2 is disappointing? I played the demo and really saw no improvement over the RTS genre.... really these days an RTS game needs something special, original, to pull me, as I have played simply too much of this genre. I think EE2 is the same formula all over again. Nothing wrong with that, really, just doesn't pull me anymore....

I totally agree with you
The main game designer (cant remember his name right now) did age of empires (or should I say helped doing it? donno for sure), then created (or joined) another company.
"pray tell me, what amazing games did he create?"
Well, he created Empire Earth, which plays pretty much exactly like age of empires. What else? Empires: Dawn of the World, which also plays exactly like age of empires.
And now he's doing the amazing Empire Earth 2, which still plays like age of empires, and doesn't look that good either.
Let us hope he'll make something new like War of the Empires or Epoch of the Empires, and hopefully it'll still play like age of empires -_-

Unless they decide to delay Stalker, again |
Stalker is now "When it´s Done", so it isnt coming out soon (or at may atleast..)

Ehm, no. Stainless Steel Studios made Empire Earth, then they moved onto Dawn of the Modern World.
They have nothing to do with Empire Earth 2.
Now they are working on their next RTS "Empire" game that has the ability to directly control the hero.
I know this because this studio is here in Boston, and I know some of the guys.
