Would anyone recommend such a screen for gaming?

Im using a HP w2408h atm (24inch)..

It's IPS matrix, so that's good
In the spec it says 5ms response, in the description it says 6ms.. ? either way good for gaming.
I haven't seen 21:9 aspect in much games?
It has lots of useless extras..
You must try it, the last IPS I tried had a small lag, barely noticeable, but I wouldn't play on it.
If it's all good, yeah, take it.

I would say yes, but I doubt many games support this aspect ratio so be prepared to have a lot of black borders and wasted screen space. I'd rather add another 24".
PC: Yes. Console: No.

Yeah, if you can find a 24" IPS for that or less money - grab that instead.

weird aspect ratio and weird resolution. you'll have nothing but trouble with that monitor, stay away.

i hate those screens. The super wide thing is awful. I hope it doesn't take off.
So in answer. I would not recommend.

Using two screens is so 1995.. looks awful imo + how fun is it with huge black borders, lol.. i'd never use it again (i used it in the late 90's). I really hope super widescreen will be the new standard soon.
