Quote:
Guacamelee! is an action-platformer developed by Drinkbox Studios. The game draws its inspiration from traditional Mexican culture and folklore.
Guacamelee! builds upon classic action-platformers by adding a strong melee combat component, a new dimension switching mechanic, and cooperative same-screen multiplayer for the entire story. The game also blurs the boundaries between combat and platforming by making many of the moves useful and necessary for both of these.

on xbox its 2,5k $ for a patch , on Ps3 you pay for patch bandwidth

Yeah, apparently this was known since Sept. 2012. So old news, but now we got a confirmation as Peter said.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/30/guacamelee-gold-edition-is-coming-to-steam

$14.99 £11.99 and €13.99

...and wasn't it 40k for a patch on 360?

I think so but I bought the game and got it that way so I've not checked, if it's just the standard Steam usage then it's probably bypassed even if it's not mentioned.
(Or so it's been with several other smaller Steam games I've downloaded from Ali213 at least.)

That's available too now. Smile

EDIT: Is that bundled game offer really that important to people?

I just bought this game, beat it, and I feel like I want to tell the whole world about it. Seriously one of the most fun 2d platformers I've ever played. The art style, animation, and humor are amazing. The combo system is badass. Unlocking new abilities always feels overpowering and awesome. When I first got Goat Jump I couldn't believe it. And then Goat Fly....so badass. Anyways, I highly recommend this game! Only complaint is that I wish it were a little longer.

Same exact feeling here. I played it for two days straight, got 100% of each area, found every collectible, and got gold medals in every challenge. First time I've done that in a while. Yarr version though so no stats uploading. I may just buy the game though, it's worth it.

played it a while ago on ps3, it has the most satisfying combat of any metroidvania game ever, tossing enemies into each other in coop and racking up on multipliers is just so addictive. Very Happy

Didn't know there were custom skin support, some interesting work there already.

- Fix for game running super fast for some players. This was due to vsync of video card overriding the video settings that were selected in the game.
- Fix for infinite hit on spikes at the end of the Xtabay battle
- Fix for player jumping after selecting costume (double detection of button press)
- Fix to inactive players being capable of triggering/canceling sync operations in costume shop

@PumpAction

It is! I just recently beat the game myself, bought it during the steam sale for a few $'s because everyone raved how fun it was. The game did not disappoint, even though there were many difficult parts the satisfaction of finishing everything was good Smile

yep, great game, single player can be tough, but coop makes it so fucking easy, since you can infinitely respawn as long as the other player is alive (countdown is only 10 secs or so), and the game´s difficulty doesnt change, so you basically dish out damage twice as fast.

The game was certainly very fun, I had no idea there was even a ps4/xb1 version that was "improved".

Wasn't a 2nd game in the works for this?
