“Sitting alongside that will be F1 every year. Flashpoint we’ll do every other year. The idea is to come up with a new IP that sits in opposite years to each other, but we’re in the racing segment and the action segment.”
On that new IP, Cousens all but confirmed it would be out in 2012 to support GRID 2. |

I enjoy their games for a little while, but the games aren't that special IMO. Single player is generally atrocious, multiplayer is generally fun for a few hours, I dunno.
Their games all feel the same to me, regardless of dirt, street, track racing.

Well I loved Grid 1 but to be honest, project Cars is currently the only racing game I am interested in. And if they are going to treat the MP of Grid 2 the same, I wouldn't even buy it for 20€.

Grid 1 is probably the only "recent" Codie game that I really enjoyed, I just hope they don't make the sequel even more arcadish, that would kill all my interest :/
I fear they might implement the solid physics engine seen in Dirt Showdown   |

Here's one racing game I couldn't care less about. Never understood why people love GRID so much. It seemed like a pretty poor game to me.

Grid had really good driving physics for an arcadey game. And the replays and graphics were great for it's time!

Yup, it had an arcade driving model but not the usual "press-throttle-without-even-braking-once-to-win" one. It actually required a certain amount of precision, and the good damage system made everything more interesting

The one thing I didn't like about Grid1....... Not enough Derby events! I kept hoping they'd release a game, just call it GRID:Crash or some shit, that had nothing changed except it was all derby type races. Loved the intersection jumps
