Not getting the speed they promised.
And before anyway claims that they never do, i DID get the speeds i was supposed to get.
Virtually everyone does with this ISP and their Coax cable network.

So 150/15 =/= 147/12.86?!
They even acknowledged on the phone that this is NOT how it should be and they are going to look into it.
So anyone saying this is fine for what i pay is just fucking ignorant.

THats pretty good.
You can start complaining when you got what my brother got. 80Mbit that turned out to be less than 8Mbit. Now THATS something to bitch about.
Btw, why upgrade 120/10 to 150/15? Good price difference? Cos tbh I see no real reason to get it...Had it been 120 to 1tb I would have had more understanding..or 120 to 240.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

so they promise you that you'll reach a maximum of 150/15 and you only reach 98,x% and you think that this is some sort of failure on their side?

Because everyone is fucking blind..
They got minimum values that people should get, my upload is beneath that.
As usual everyone just keeps bashing me without fucking reading what is being said, fucking kids.
Even they say that this is NOT fine, how much more fucking clear do i have to be?!
FYI, it's solely about the UPLOAD, not the download.

Ever realized that your speed might be limited by the counterparty sending the stuff, your harddisks, your overall infrastructure etc. If there is somewhere in your modem, router, cable, NCI, hard disk, whatever, some 'choke point', you will get your 'crappy speed'.
By the way, why pay for such a connection Why you need it? downloading the internet?
At work, I am right on the Belgian backbone here and got 275 Megabits/second download on the servers... So I guess you should not complain about your 140, even if they promised 120. Save money, get a 20Mbit connection, more than enough... At home i have a 12 euro/month connection...

Edit: It's a limit of speedtest...
Just tested using the commandline speedtest thingie and got max of 130...

just looks like congestion to me.
The faster the connections the more chance of it, and the more it shows up.
One of that there them things.
But maybe I am wrong, its been known to happen.

At 15mbps I think he can rule out any hardware side problems on his end.... Of course if he is not uploading from a slow usb stick
What would worry more is the horrible ping that you have :/ But maybe I'm just used to 2-5ms ping because I'm basically next to frankfurt

I pay €63,- per month for this, including home phone and 1080i HDTV.
But it's not about the download as i said before, that's just fine at 147mbit, it's about the upload, i NEED the upload to upload to usenet.
Since there is no fibre here (yet), i can't swap to anything else and i'm forced to stay with them.
But when fibre hits this part of this shitty town, i'll swap to 500/500 ASAP.
And i doubt any of my internal network is the problem. ~€160,- router (ASUS RT-N660 Dark Knight) and using CAT7 cables.
Nor is my hardware any fault and more then capable to have such speeds (which you should know by now tbh.. Since i mentioned my hardware more then enough on this forum.).
@PumpAction
That's because he's from Belgium, most people there are still on DSL connections rather then fibre or cable.
Here is a discussion about it on a Dutch forum: http://ziggo-gebruikers.nl/forum/showthread.php?p=443163#post443163
Just look at the differences there, there are people that get maxed out. Since i got maxed out before, there wouldn't be any reason why i shouldn't get maxed out now.

Well you should be complaining then shouldn't you.
That 8Mbit loss is disgraceful

Don't forget that sometimes you get different results depending on browser.
In chrome I get faster dl/ul speeds, in firefox I get a better response-time.
Chrome
Firefox
