...you're gonna have a baaaaad time.
Today I had to take my company car for service.
The replacement car they gave me is this:
http://imgur.com/a/SKtcs#0
Just so you guys know, the guy who was just before me got a B-Class, so I was mentally preparing for some shitty car, even if they "promised" me a CLA as replacement.
The girl at MB Rental looked at me and said:
"Sorry, but unfortunatelly we don't have the CLA we intended for you."
I was thinking: D'Uh ... that was something totally unexpected, wasn't it???
Girl: "However, we have a E350 in stock, would that suite you still?"
I tried hard to answer with a straight face: "Yeeee, .... it'll be fine..."
The car is the newest E-Class 350 CDI Wagon full spec, AMG Sports package, automatic (with shiftpedals at wheel), has every got damn assistant there is on the planet (seriously, it's scary), accelerates like hell in sports mode, it looks pretty bad ass, bad ass AMG rims, big sat nav, boy I love this car so much... I don't wanna take it back.
I delivered my car (E250 CDI Coupe) today morning 8 o'clock, and it's now half past 1pm. It's the service B to be done, so it'll take a while, but anytime in the next few hours they will call me to collect my car (and bring back the replacement). How can I hold on to it forever??
Also, it's kinda unfair, because now they influenced my decision for my next company car, after my leasing contract ends, you know.
Seriously, car dealers are worse than drug dealers...

This car is so advanced, when you are switching lanes without using the lights (blinking left/right) and it detects it when you're driving over the white stripes, it makes the wheel bump per force feedback, so you notice. As if there were little bumps in the asphalt. Also, it tell you when a car is left/right of you when you are trying to switch lanes on the Autobahn, or when you are too close to a car in front of you (according to speed / distance recommendations). My cousin has a car workshop and he tells me these assistants are all nice and fun, but they break easily and then it costs money to repair them, but still, for a one-day demo this is absolutely brilliant to see how far car develepment has come. The backwards camera for parking is also nice, but of course, that has been around for a while, it's just I never had any car to support that. I find it impressive. | Yeah, agree. And the last part is very true. A friend of mine works for Mercedes and he claims 90% of the cars coming in has problems with sensors/electrical systems.

Bitch... when I sat in your car for the first time, that fucking belt automatically moved forward so that I don't have to twist myself to grab it. It was fucking witchcraft for a simple duck like me, who was only used to pre '95 cars

Yeah, korean cars are not to be laughed at anymore. Now as most "japanese" cars are manufactured pretty much everywhere (I know we get Toyota Avensis from UK...) the reliability really aren't the same. I could just as well get myself a Sonata or a ix35 if I want a SUV for 3/4 of the price.
