Plants vs. Zombies 2, the sequel to the popular zombie-themed tower-defense game, will release in late spring of next year, publisher Pop Cap announced today.
The game will feature new settings and zombie-defense situations. Pop Cap has shared a hint about the nature of Plants vs. Zombies 2 with a "quote" from one of the game's fictional zombies:
"'Spring is crullest curlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots,' noted an unidentified spokesperson. 'So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skedule schedlue plan... we're freee anytime. We'll find you.'"
Plants vs. Zombies released in May 2009 for PC and Mac, followed by its debut on iOS in February 2010. Since then the game has been ported to Nintendo DS, Android, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, Windows Phone 7, and PlayStation Vita.
Of course it's EA fault - they have to present an increase in profit to the stock holders so they go with the easiest way - fire some poor fellows and save some money this way.
