Bumping to raise awareness... Halfway to its 200 grand (Canadian dollar) goal, with only 13 days left.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Which could very well have a few unwelcoming locals or survivors in it and you'd end up dead. I wonder if the Devs would do that to you in that area. lol

Looks like some kind of Skyrim Frostfall - The game Razz, pretty interesting concept in my opinion, though it needs to have some depth and be rewarding in order to be fun to play. But yeah, seems cool.

Raindrop Developers now helping on The Long Dark

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1847847657/raindrop-0/posts/733802

Quote:
Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since we've update everyone on our status.

During our Kickstarter campaign, we had the great opportunity to meet the team behind 'The Long Dark', and we found many similarities between both of our projects. We've been approached by Hinterland Studio to join them on their quest to build a magnificent post-disaster survival sim, and we are happy to accept the invitation!

Although it may seem that we've put Raindrop on hold... that is not entirely the case. In fact, Raindrop is undergoing some major changes in which will take some time to achieve. In the meantime, we are excited to see the future of both 'The Long Dark' and 'Raindrop' in front of us. So stay tuned for more updates, and check out The Long Dark!

You'd rather have Dead Rising 3 and Watch Dogs on steam than some of the brilliant indies games?

Sound design is brilliant.

Some silly things like can opener and clothing "decaying" to fast. I mean, i can open like 10 cans with one can opener? Or my cloth only last a few days...

This is the best game you can get from an early access stage. You can see that the developers have put lots of effort in this. It's not like "give me some money and maybe i can finish the game".
Other than that the game gives you the real loneliness. The details in survival are way over than my expectations.

The things you get from this game is not like some The Forest survival bullshit. I've been playing this since 2 days and i like it thus far.
