In general i hate WW2 based games (well aside COH)I especially found world of tanks to be ultra boring... rolling with 10 km/h for 10 minutes only to be 1 shotted from something parked in a bush across the map...
But i was so bored i tried world of warplanes. It's not bad for some quick pew-pew matches. It seems that it only has 2 maps so far and only one mode.
I play Star conflict and i know the guys behind it have that - War Thunder game which is like world of warplanes.. So which is better?

Not even close to being a contest right now. WoWP is very underdeveloped, the controls are incredibly bad, graphics are sub-par.
War Thunder on the other hand has a fuckton of planes, very fine tuned and enjoyable controls (both mouse and joysticks are great), and it looks great to boot (just search the screenshot topic for "War Thunder" (with quotations) to see how it looks).
There are game modes for all kinds, you can play arcade battles if you want more...arcadey gameplay, or full-real-battles where you are locked in cockpit view (oh yeah, unlike WoWP, WT has gorgeous and accurate cockpits) and have to use a joystick to fly in a managable fashion. Not quite full-extreme-simulation, but damn close (all sorts of things can be fiddled with, like fuel mixture, trim, etc). Or you can play Historical Battles, which is somewhere in between. You can fly with the mouse, but the planes react in a much more realistic fashion.
So yeah. Right now, with WoWP lightyears from being even close to complete, WT is hands down the superior game.

@zmed What is their model? Is it a shit freemium where you have to fly 139812908371023761208361208736 missions in order to unlock some plane or pay 2.99$ for one plane for a week and then it gets ruined and you have to buy a new one?

Yeah, I checked their store. Fuck that shit.
Just get Wings of Prey + Expansion. You get the same graphics, not all but most aircrafts and a better single player content.

What's in their store that turned you off? The wast majority of planes are obtainable in game, and only very few are premium, and even those are mostly planes from other nations that were historically captured by that nation (like US planes for the Japanese and vice versa). There are a few unique planes in premium, but those are mostly sidegrades.
For example the Germans have a total of 6 premium planes, right next to their 51 regular planes (with some of them having sub-variants).
The Wellington Mk Ic is a British plane, available in their tree. The P-47D is a Us plane, same. Same for the La-5FN from the Soviets. So the germans in essence only have 2 really unique premium crafts, and even those are just variants of already existing planes (the very first is awarded freely if you play the game first with that nation, but that's just a paintjob for the starter planes).
Sure, there's a premium-time for accounts, but which f2p game doesn't? You get more in-game money and XP, that's all.
The gold currency is only really used to speed up stuff. A boost to crew skill points, converting XP for specific nations, etc. This very far from p2w.
But yeah, if you expect single player from a multiplayer game, really just buy WoP.

You have to grind like crazy - that's what put me off, like every other "f"2p shit. Oh, but if you have the cash to throw then here you go, all is unlocked.
Just get WoP. It also has MP and it is also 32 player per map, I think. So does this add?

Also tried both and stopped playing both.
I prefer ww2 flightsims in singleplayer, just can't seem to find the fun in multiplayer.
But out of the two, warthunder is clearly better.
