Time for a mini review, I'm not very good at it since I never do it, but I'll try anyway 
Game:
The gameplay is OK, nothing more, nothing less. I expected a lot more really from the trailers. Being announced as a fast-paced shooter, I expected a fast-paced shooter, and although it is not the speed of Battlefield 3, it isn't that much faster. I kinda expected a Quake pace, and it's probably half of that. There are plenty of different modes available (I think around 6) and the server settings can be tweaked, Instagib is for example possible. It is also a pretty hard game, there are pretty decent players out there that can really make a difference in the game (and unfortunately also a lot of French people  ). There is only one class available (which isn't a problem), but what I don't like is that there is only one type of gun. This does not make it extremely exciting to me, as I like a little variety so I can do different attacks based on the type of gun.
Maps:
The maps are pretty cool, there are sunny maps, night maps, but also maps with jumps to give you a speed or height boost. The maps I've played had a maximum amount of players of 20, and you really don't want more of that. It was already a massive fragfest, although there was only one type of gun. The variety in the maps isn't that great though, they all look a bit alike. However, there is a map editor available so this can always be fixed by the community.
Graphics:
The graphics of the game are actually pretty good, it looks nice and it runs superb (and that for an alpha). The lighting is good, and also on the night maps this really shows. The effects from the guns are also pretty cool. What I don't really like is the 'childish' ingame interface (kinda like TrackMania Nations) and it's launcher (MediaPlanet), which is a bit sluggish and messy. The initial launcher for graphics and such has a lot from TrackMania, which can also be seen in the graphics settings, a lot of items are still refering to "cars". Given the fact that this game only uses ~300MB of disk space, I think it has an impressive set of graphics available.
Overall:
I hoped that this game would bring back the old era of fps games, with great titles such as Unreal Tournament and Quake, but this just isn't it. The lack of variety in this game is a huge setback for me and the kinda terrible interface isn't helping. I hoped this game would be more, but who knows, it's still alpha and they can tweak a lot. Going through the Alpha forums it seems they are pretty active develping this game and also bringing tweaks and new features.
Total: 7.5/10, which includes 1 point for the map editor.
