It lacks some killer features and looks pretty basic for what it's supposed to be...
I hope someone picks this idea up and improves it...

I like the desk but I'm not so keen on that guys face.. it creeps me out.. The price is way to high for most to justify, including myself, so I wont be backing. Nice concept though, hope it does well and they find ways to reduce the costs.

He was paxsali from what I can gather but it made no sense and its a desk , a desk ffs.. Maybe with his awesome witty marketing skills in the video he should of added.

lol ya. It was gradually fixed in later patches so by 1.6 it didn't really do much for you. I Think you can still bunny hop but it's not like 1.3 where you could fly around the map like a jack rabbit on speed.

It goes in relation to the intro when he said he's been a gamer for a long time. There were a couple games back then that were the absoulte biggest. Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike. Nothing touched them in popularity.
None the less the desk is crap. OCN did a great job picking apart all that's wrong with it especially anything audio related on it. Ports are notorious for going out from contant use and then having them face up on the face of the desk? Door or no door, that is going to get caked with shit and risk having fluids being spilled on it. What PC gamer doesn't keep a mountain dew or something on his desk lol. All those extra connections are just going to be a problem solving nightmare. Have a problem with your keyboard? You'll have to go out of your way to undbundle the cords from the desk and plug into your desktop to see if it was the desk hardware causing the issue.
Not to mention he ripped the logo off of the Airforce which has nothing to do with the desk. Couldn't even come up with his own logo.

As someone who works in fabrication. I saw close ups of the weld points and their amateur as fuck. Even the "finish" on the legs of the desk he's showing off is absolute shit.
The matting on top..that stuff wears out within a year...if he uses adhesive to put it on...good luck removing it from everything to put your own on.
Using welded steel. Shipping prices are going to be outrageous.
I could keep going but whatever, he's not going to get far with it. He basically took a piece of metal, added some features on it and said HEY LOOK! A GAMING DESK! ITS REVOLUTIONARY! Should replace the air force logo rip off he used and use an Apple logo
Unless he's using high quality parts, this desk isn't worth it.
