CYANGMOU FINALLY REVEALED HIS INTENTIONS BEHIND THE CEASE & DESIST.

Cyangmou made a statement about his reasons to send a C&D to the public - why he didn't tell me about his
reasons in person before starting to work on a 35 page C&D resulting in setting things in motion that would kill
this project is beyond me.

Its about money.
He claims I owe him money.

Which is true - but just for the record - we already had an agreement on how he will get payed and copyrights
are uphold prior to his C&D - Cyangmou, Matbtt, Vierbit & me.

He agreed to it.

Took me a while to set it up - he lost patience - still did not talk to me about his intentions.
Off you go little C&D - here we are. My first reaction upon receiving the C&S was sending him a mail making fun
of his lack of patience and trust and that the setups had been completed - the first payments already send.
I asked him if the C&D was just bad timing and if its still valid?

Backs comes a three page business agreement far beyond on what we did agree on prior to the C&D
and not a single word about the C&D his intentions behind it and how the hell that happened.

Re-negotiating with a gun pointed to my head - that's not gonna happen.

So bye bye agreement = bye bye copyrights = C&D kicks in = have to remove all art immediately or he really
could drag me into lawsuit and assertion of compensation. Hello lawsuit over money, pride, revenge, being stupid ...
or a bunch of images he did after school or what ever this is about.
Also he had been removed from the project - wanted to come back - I told him we would talk about that once
time permits = lots of time to write a C&D. We really looked forward to his return - he told us he put a lot of
thought into what happened, had his distance, would be ready. That wont happen now anytime soon.

AGAIN

We were totally unaware of the situation that there was a problem with Cyangmou other than that we temporarily
had to remove him from the the project because of destructive behavior and breaking agreements on a larger scale.
We had a skype conference the whole team - I spoke for 2 hours straight about how important it is that we stick
together and if everybody is still with me on that. I asked:"Is there anyone who got a problem with me who wants
to bail out? Speak up now or lets get back to work". Nobody spoke up. Cyangmou just made a few comments
about monetizing the game more. I said lets make a good game and we will get more players means more
support to make money. I have to admit money has never been that important to me. But yeah sure on has to
earn his living or start a career ... but this way? That is just wrong.

ALSO

If Cyangmou still insists on that this is just about me not paying him then I will have the C&D translated and show
it you. Its just stating that he claims his copyright for the catalogue of images he added and that I have to remove
them immediately - next to some stuff that I have to give a list to the lawyer in what way I made his work public.
The initial time to do so was three days. There is no WHY he claims his copyright there is no HOW I can prevent
this from happening its just DO IT IMMEDIATELY.
Does that makes sense to anyone of you? The way he planted the C&D and how its only purpose is to bring us
down does this looks like this guy cares about anyone else but himself?

If this would have been about money - I would had payed him myself, made a fund raiser or asked Matbtt or anyone
to raise it and pay him. Why risk everything on a 275$ payment a month? That was the first agreement.
An agreement he came up with to keep the payments small and to avoid tax. He would had get it for years -
and all was set up and running already.

The first payments had been send prior the time the C&D arrived. WHAT IS GOING ON?

He feared about his money?

Why didn't he spoke up in the team or the forum? Why didn't he spoke up like he did now before bringing us down?
Made this public - made us aware that we are going to be shutdown?

The time he worked on his 35 page C&D we on our hand talked about his return endlessly and that we will not do it
in a rush. We needed him. He also was a friend of mine after the last two years. He slept under my roof.
I'm a commercial pilot - I took him on travel with me. Let him met my friends? And now that?
He threatens me with a law suit instead of making perfectly clear to me what he wants and how he intend to get it?

And its about Money?

S:CK has never been about money. We worked for 15 years straight - to be brought down about a money dispute
by someone living at his mom? Someone that earned almost 10.000 USD on this project already out of my own
pocket and your donations and more to come?

Yep! I payed him almost 10.000 USD and he stills claims: "I hold the copyrights for ALL the art I created."
So In the end I will get NOTHING? What did I pay the money for? To play with his not existing balls?

I payed 10.000 USD for a C&D - thats what I did.

Thats how a professional pixel artist conducts business? Bringing down long established projects over a
dispute about what the fxck do I care? STOP right there! You tear your yourself and your young career down with it.
Who the hell talked you into this - you got anyone who cares around you and knows what are you doing?
S:CK is just a game - we got broken friendships, broken dreams already ... don't break yourself as well Thomas -
its just not worth it.

After what happened anyone of you think I can just sit down and write some lines of code and move on?
Get a bunch of lawyers and sue the crap out of the little greedy kid?
That's just not who I am. This was a deathblow to the project. Two years of hard work lost.

I'm totally crushed by how I was brought down in the end. And still - I don't know even WHY?
Money yeah maybe but that's not the whole story. His lawyer himself told me that he is not into this C&D thing
alone - he had help from a unknown third party.

I fulfilled his list - better safe then sorry. Hell knows what kind of people he teamed up with.

I will meet with my lawyers the next days.
I wont let go of the copyrights - but I'm also not interested in his work anymore either.
All this guys produces has a rotten stain to it.
