I would love to upgrade my N4 for this (less than a year old), but unfortunately I've cracked the back so hard to even get $150 for it so not worth paying $200 + tax and shipping for the upgrade :/

Bought the 32gb black version. Quick question in regards to apps, people have suggested that blapkmarket was a pretty decent source for apk's, that being said, I have no idea how I would go about getting software like Doggcatcher and the like, do I simply just download the apk to my phone and I'm good to go? Seems a lot easier to pirate than in iphone where I had to jailbreak my phone first. I'm actually interested in paying for the software, but I want to demo the multiple versions of podcast collectors.
Actually, that goes for a lot of the apps in general, unlike iphone, there seems to be so many different, competent apps for Android and I really wish you could demo them for like 24 hours just to get a sense of them and choose a preference from there. Oh well.

You can turn off the protection for apks allowing you to install any you wish, I believe that is without the need to root but honestly, I just rooted my phone anyway. As for trying out apps there is a 15min return policy after purchase provided by google.

Yeah the estimated date was the 5th. Not sure how quick I was, I've seen people with estimated dates before mine. I just happened to check when I arrived home from work (I'd been checking at work) and it was up, checked around for a better deal then ordered.
Order date: 31-Oct-2013 19:37:12 GMT
Oddly the dispatch status still says the 5th, so it could well be that it hasn't *actually* shipped, it just has a tracking number assigned. Not sure how Google play handles this kind of thing..l

upgrade = sell the old one, get a new one, don't sign new 2 year contract. would be good new phone - old phone was only $200 difference, but I don't think I can get that.
also, here the phone carriers are selling the 16gb for $500 instead of the $350 google play sells it for :/

. I couldn't justify the extra £40 when most of my data is in the cloud. I suspect a lot of the money saving is in the battery, plus 2300mah should be more than enough for at least a days worth of use if not far more.
). Just sticking some of the default apps on the phone and getting it setup how I like.
