Right. Let me jump right into it. I've been using legendary (i guess) UltraX for past ~4 years, which unfortunately is pretty much wearing out. I thought, hey, high time to try switching to a mechanical one so I ordered CM quickfire rapid @ red mx switches.

The keyboard overall is pretty good, although spring sound in bigger keys is really annoying for me (ye, I can hear it, even with music @ on). I also need to focus a lot to not bottom out but the main thing is I just ... can't get on with it. I don't know if its because I got used to flat keyboard so much, or I need more time. I remember I felt for UltraX the first minute I touched it and it's been serving me since then. The Quickfire, however good and cheesy, doesn't seem to fit here.

In this case, im asking you peepz whether you know similar to UltraX keyboards being sold, that would be scissor-dome switchez, preferably Europe. I'll start with the fact that I am aware of Logitech Illuminated, which is pretty nice product (well, apart from the bottom row which is round, why? I have no idea) but it doesn't come with normal US layout (flat enter, backslash + pipe above enter IS A MUST for me, so is long left shift) or at least I haven't found any other.

Any irrelevancy - knock it off. I know it may sound crazy that I don't like a mech keyboard that much as most of new-to-mech-world do, but since 100$ aint pennies for a keyboard, I want to be fully happy with the purchase. Perhaps someone knows something I haven't seen myself yet.
