I really liked the linearity and story-driven concept of NFS The Run.
Recent NFS are basically drop-in/drop-out open worlds that are completely unlocked from the beginning, with constant meaningless rewards and no true sense of progression.
I know Ghost Games has stated this game tries to gradually lead you from area to area as you progress but its still the same shallow experience as the others. Well, it will definitely be better than Most Wanted. What a POS that was.
I'm pretty sure it has even been officialy stated that every NFS game from now on is going to be like this.

THIS! Though a lot of people dissed this game, I found the concept to be really good. It was a good shift and was completely enjoyable. The Run was probably the only Need for Speed game, I have completed in a long time now. Hope Rivals has a similar concept.

Should work.
HD installation is the usual Content folder moving like with Splinter Cell and else.
Wanted to stop playing and had a fatal crash intercept, not sure if random or just at that particular point, played to a good extent. |

As someone who was disappointed with the lack of, well, things to do, in Most Wanted, is there much better? I did like the open world stuff, and the driving was alright, kind of a Burnout vibe (I loved Burnout Paradise).
Is there enough to do, or can you finish all the 'main' missions and upgrade your car to max in 5-6 hours like the last game?

You seem to be contradicting yourself. Anyway, I can't stand those jaggies, the screen tearing and that far camera is too damn low... still waiting for the PC version though.
