Honestly, I think the "Scene" needs to re-evaluate themselves.
Like say all the guys who do it because they can, not for profit, join up under one banner name, get rid of the competition or keep it in the one main group
And the same goes for those who profit off of ripped shit

think people do it becasue a direct link from here can be traced back from the link once they click on it and are taken to the other site. Say the website admin of one of the links looks up where all the traffic suddenly appears from they can get details that it was from here. Thats why you have websites that can mask the details by inputing something before the http part. Admin on said said might not like the fact that this site has details of released game on this site and then they can report it to known people

word. cant wait for dreamfall. adventure games indeed are very special for me, their stories most of the time are very touchy (like grim fandango, tlj, syberia) and you cant forget it for years to come.

Yeah, but whats the difference? This is not like its a hidden underground site..... This is a gaming forum right here where all links are at, there are links in the templates, so why not normally? We discuss warez games, we dont actually "DO" warez on this site, so whats the fear? =)

Delaware St. John: Vol.1 - The Curse of Midnight Manor "..The first game of a new ten-volume supernatural adventure series is preparing to burst onto the gaming scene in only a few short months.."
Besides, there is some P&C games in development that I just can't wait till play them; Dreamfall [Q4 2005 rel.], Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle [Q4 2005 rel.], Nibiru: Messenger of the Gods (from the BLACK MIRROR developers) [Nov. 2005 rel.].

Hi,
Nibiru: Messenger of the Gods = NiBiRu - Der Bote der Götter (in Germany it's already out for a while, has damn VOB ProtectCD v5-Copy-Protection)
And it's really short (compared to Black Mirror), but real good^^

I like Black Mirror despite some nasty reviews on him. Maybe the script wasn't perfect enough, but the atmosphere was amazing.. not mention the high qulity graphics.

absolutely agree - monkey island 1, space quest series, hero quest series all *rocked* - modern adventures totally miss the mark. Devs now concentrate on graphical whizz & completely fail on humour, good story, interesting characters. Prolly symptomatic of the dumbing down of society generally ;-P
You wanted a Miracle, I give you the F. B. Eye !!

Quote: | There were also a game which had no release date since they had no publisher. The developer released a small demo a long time ago, a demo that had this car dealer pussle, that was one hell of a game..it sucks that I cant remember the name of that, but anyway...it was 2d so publishers were not really standing in line to publish that. |
you mean project joe
