i also loved hellboy, although nearly nobody else i know did. The story sounds somewhat cliché'd like an alternative version of x-men, but i hope for the best
yeah well, fortunately its a comic book movie... all it needs is a rough storyline as an excuse to string together loads of great action sequences and cgi sequences, so in that respect its perfect! -did you see the trailer? its a proper trailer, not a teaser... its freakin amazing, loads of great shit in there... hellboy swordfight, w00t! del toro is definately on my top 5 of truely great directors...

and leo, its all in the execution... theres been a fair few crap comicbook movies... point i was trying to make, is that the story isnt the important thing in these films... its how it all comes together thats they key, and this one looks awesome.

Saw Hellboy just some days ago, loved it, I know shame on me (for not seeing it earlier that is). Pretty cool that the 2nd one is only over a week away
