Looks intriguing.. especially if it'll be single player rather than populated by an mmo crowd. Don't think I'ever seen a game do at-will transitioning from planetside/atmosphere to space without loading screens in between.
Very skeptical about this. It is made by good devs but you really need a lot of depth to make the randomly generated environment to be worthwhile. And then the combat needs to be good. Since there are First person on foot mode, not only do you need good space ship combat, you need good FPS combat as well. Then you need progressions to give players goals...

OT: Can't get too hyped up about this one, since that only sets me up for appointment, but damn, it looks great. I don't care if its boring or with little depth, something that I will try ASAP.
random worlds... go and explore... that's all i want. that's all i'd be happy with. I don't care for big battles. I don't care for story. Go into your space ship and fly through atmos land on planets... explore... do same thing.
if they do something like collecting specimens... fly through planets and look for planets where you can build your base and have it and let a civilization grow... oh testicle explosion... what if you can explore various planets... and then travel hoam and get peepls from one planet to another and another and colonize the visible galaxy... and be president or leader of each planet and fly between them to micromanage their adaptation
i'd blow a nut all over my own face and wipe it off with yogurt if a game like that was made.
anywho super excite for this game. more than destiny, and more than that chris roberts game that's like 10 years away... though since i already bought it... i'll prolly play it once or twice and give it up...
now epsi-epi tell us which console it's secretly for... or we'll find out everything tomorrow from some website that has an interview with the team.
"Don't take this the wrong way, but our background is as console developers, and I think everything about the game bears hallmarks of that. In terms of your controls, in terms of the fluidity of the game, this is not a quirky, hard-to-decipher experience."
