Ok, with the approval and sponsorship of Neon I bring thee this new category.

List the PC games you think had the best stories/plots in 2013, regardless of genre, category etc.

1. You can nominate 5 games maximum, but you can nominate less than that.
2. The points the game receives are based on its place on your list, for instance, 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 4 points etc.
3. The final 5 games are going to be put in a poll on January 1st, 2014, and the final poll will decide the "winner".

Remember Me

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

MangaGamer and Jast releases their usual Visual Novels but story is probably not why the majority play them. Razz

Best story in a "normal" PC game this year? Hmm I don't really know I play every game for it's story but I don't really grade them, more about just enjoying them all for what they are which is a bit weird but somehow that's how I do it.
(Gameplay is nice of course but to me that just furthers the story while good visuals and sound help with immersion.)

Can't really choose, might have to think about it but I don't think I can pick a top 5, maybe.
(I enjoy most stories in games for what they are but there's nothing that really grabs me like a good book or movie can do, or could since I barely watch or read anything now.)

Bioshock Infinite

Night of the rabbit (great, great game, started it a few month ago, never got to finish it until yesterday. May be a bit childish, but in the end, the story is pretty good).

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
