1. You can nominate 5 games maximum, but you can nominate less than that.
2. The points the game receives are based on its place on your list, for instance, 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 4 points etc.
3. The final 5 games are going to be put in a poll on January 1st, 2014, and the final poll will decide the winner.

Was there any special RPG games this year? Path of Exile perhaps but that's more of a MMO.
(I'm having trouble remembering anything really exceptional.)

Same here. Only RPG I remember playing this year is Shadowrun Returns, but that was "ok" at best.

Best for me was probably Rogue Legacy, didnt finish Shadowrun it just felt so barebone and cheap, there was also Arklash Legacy and Mars War Logs but they where not that great either, technically Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut could be counted if so then its my number 2. Overall a bad year for Crpgs .

Only played Shadowrun, which I thought was pretty mediocre. So unless you count the BG 2 remake, there's nothing noteworthy.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
