i love gaming and i've played almost everything.
except games for 3ds/wiiu.

and now I have nothing to play and it makes me sad.

plus i'm browsing through release dates for the 2014 it makes me even more sad because there's so few games to be released Sad(

it seems like i have to find another hobby..
or maybe give up gaming for a year, then buy ps4, xboxone and have a huge game backlog.

thx for listening
bye

This is my situation. I've made a huge effort to get through some of it, and actually was able to catch up to most of my steam backlog. Now working through my 3ds and ps4.

Not enough time!

well, of course not all. Some are just not my thing (strategy, sim etc.)

Older like what ? SNES ?
I've played through all the SNES games I liked but they didn't interest me that much. I've played through all the major games on consoles like psx/n64. I think there's a dreamcast emulator working so i might try that Smile

I dunno I think if you played thru 'all' the games, you haven't played them all, just played one type of games Razz If all you play is turn it on 30 hours later its done, you will run out fast.

There is a lot of games that isn't a 'start-->finish' types. RTS games, sim games, racing games, strategy games, combat games..etc. But since they aren't your type, it narrowed down the choices of a longterm game a lot.

My favorite type of games are the ones without a story, that have no linear gameplay that you 'beat'. Like im still playing forged alliance with friends, arma3 MP, simcity4 and the new one, prison architect, civ 5, 3-4 hours on saturday with a friend on rfactor, even some RCT 3 a few hours each week..etc

I'm the other way around, I love a good story/atmosphere in a game.
But Yeah, that's a good advice. I just have to be less picky and play games I didn't play.

Either way i'm staying away from RTS because i just hate them. The only RTS I liked was CoH.

that gave me an idea to buy : a racing wheel, a joystick and play some car/plane simulators Smile

We all got those "I got nothing to play" moments, even if you got tons. Smile
That just means you gotta do something else and take a break from gaming.

I bet you got lots of games you haven't played, try different genres even if they don't seem to be to your liking at first...lot of surprises out there. Wink

There must be some hidden gem that you missed in all these years, some niche RPG or brilliant indie game that somehow escaped from your radar. It's inevitable. Razz If there aren't any, then colour me very impressed.

edit:
What about mods? Stuff like The Dark Mod (basically Thief 1 redone, with tons of custom maps), the huge Nehrim for Oblivion, The Nameless Mod for Deus Ex (just as good as the main game), Black mesa (no explanation needed), the brutal Misery for CoP, Underhell, Cry of Fear and many others.
