An FPS horror game set in a surreal, dark and deadly biomechanical world which resembles nothing you have ever encountered.
In the world of Inner Chains, you don’t get to set the rules. You are just a small part of a hostile, unwelcoming universe. If you want to survive, the only thing you can do is to try to discover its secrets.
A planet. Distant future. A rock floating in space, no longer resembling what it had once been. Without human interference, nature has begun to adapt to the new conditions, reclaiming what was once taken by humans. In its everlasting pursuit of perfection, it has begun to assimilate with the abandoned technology, giving life to biomechanical beings.
Left to its own devices, man-made technology has also changed as it tried to adapt to the new environment. Evolution cannot be stopped, so a strong symbiosis soon developed between technology and nature, making it difficult to determine what is alive and what is mechanical in the world of Inner Chains.

Hello Painkiller.
(Well there was that older UE3 version with it's 0.5 content, 0.5 DLC system, hell even with the DLC's I'm sure some levels were missing even so and only part of the actual creatures had proper high-res models.)
Seems this year there's only one first-person horror game coming out(Outlast 2), while next year is packed with them: Resident Evil 7, Agony, Scorn, Ad Infinitum and Inner Chains.
Assuming any of them, other than RE7 will see the light of day.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
Finally a new Painkiller... although shooting looks stiff

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."

IMGN.PRO announced today the cooperation with Telepaths Tree – developer of the upcoming FPS game Inner Chains. The Polish company will provide publishing services for the title, including digital & retail worldwide distribution and localization. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher released some new screenshots that can be viewed below.
Damn, indeed, the contrast between the gorgeous environments, so fucking metal, and that Nerf-Blaster-like gunplay cannot be unseen
Hope they can sort that out somehow, it would be a shame because they really nailed the style here.
Wow it looks like good Agony (agony looks great too but I have no idea how it will be longer than 2 hours)
anyway, It looks fucking amazing. Still reminds me of Painkiller even tho there is no shooting in this gameplay. And I hope they will change voice acting

but the other stuff needs work, especially the animations... it makes the great art direction feel cheap, sadly..
also the hand infront of the face thing.. its like someone thought up the 'effect' and then they just went nuts on it, mostly when it was least suitable.
but there is certainly something super neat here - i suspect it'll be a flawed lil gem... a really interesting core with some great stuff, tarnished by inexperience.
i actually wish this was a walking simulator (even though the game makes a point of saying it wont be, and that it'll be a pew pew game)... the combat looks like the least interesting thing here, with a dumb lightning gun and no satisfying 'feedback' from the shooting... i also get some heavy tormentum vibes.. anyone else? I loved that game. sure it was a click click puzzle art game, but i got a super neat feel from that games art design and atmosphere, and im feeling that here as well which is fantastic... just a pity they wanted to make it a shooter, and what looks to be a poor one at that.
What a bad trailer letting some derp playing.
Also a shame the weapon animations still look so bad. And also the weapons really are missing that "oomph"-effect when using. They feel like toy guns.

Damn right I do , the art-style and atmosphere in Tormentum were unforgettable, somewhere in the middle between Beksinski and Giger, visceral in a good way and evocative. The developers here have managed to replicate a similar feeling in 3D, but like you said, definitely the overall gameplay mechanics look...wimpy, and the writing doesn't seem to be good either. It's like having quality death metal with Bieber as vocalist :'(
