Anyways, why do shows in 2013 have it? There is a real lack of confidense when added laughter is needed :/ Most of the time you don't really realise it because we hear it every 10 sec and just automatically ignore it.

If a show need added laughs its not funny enough IMO Wink
And TBBT is a good show, but its more clever than funny most of the time.

I guess some shows really need it, but shows like Mr. Bean and fawlty towers would be funny without even tho they have it Wink

only sitcom i can tolerate is red dwarf i think. I mostly find it insulting that a laugh track is needed to indicate when a show is supposed to be funny. office, parks and recreation and modern family for example are much better comedies.

The only one I can watch are the ones without canned-laugh. Parks&Rec, Scrubs, etc. They actually have to be funny to make people laugh, instead of peer-pressure them into it.
