Yup, I have to agree; Square are just bullies throwing their weight around. They knew about the translation patch which has been going on for years now, knew people were BEGGING for an official translation of the PSP version, yet ignored everything like the shitbags that they are. Then, when they announce the PS4/XB "HD" version of Type0, they shut down the translation project. I'm guessing that Skyrender figured something like this would happen, which is why he brought forward the translation release by several months. Originally scheduled for August, it came out in June. It's all over the net by now, so grab that and give a big "FUCK YOU!" to the greedy bastards at SquareEnix. ~edit~ Web Cache still works; "Translation information/instructions/download link" - no illegal files, just EN translation. "ISO merging information and downloads for merging the two UMD ISOs together" - no illegal files, just merge data. AND! Even though the Skyrender MEGA link still works, I imported the translation patch to my own MEGA link just in case he takes it down. The ISO merge MEGA link has been taken down, but the Mediafire mirror still works - of which I also backed up to my own Mediafire account.

I have the translated rom and am playing it on my PSP. It's a great game, easily the best Final Fantasy in a long time.

Significant upgrade, as expected, though the PSP comparisons are too dark and aren't like that in-game. You can beautify the PSP version by playing through PPSSPP but yeah, the total remake with all new assets, models, lighting? That's all on Type-0 HD. Hopefully it comes to PC
