this winter was crap. no snow at all.
finally, last week, begun to snow.
i got my old snowblades, got my newly received gopro, and this is the result :
boring i know.
any tips for shoting / procesing movies ?
i filmed for ~1 hour, and cineform wanted to convert all of it in 4+h.
what software/codecs/setting you guys use for your recordings ?
i will probably put in the future at top 720p.
thanks.
Personally i dont use it for long videos, since its car racing i use it for, but i record (in the gopro2) at 720p for 60fps, convertion is done in Cineform indeed, its slow but these videos from the Gopro are fucking huge so i guess its ok. I let it overnight do all the videos.
wow what were the temps there? looks fucking cold! I was in Utah in Dec and it was like -25c wind chill... this looks colder!
-5c i think it was up there (1750m) and around 0c down (~1000m). i had no issues staying half naked for several minutes to change my wet shirt after 3 rounds. fortunately no wind at all.

could use some stabilization.. raw small jerkiness is a bit offputting
i can do it only software mode. i enable it in youtube. will see if it is enough.

Slalom is such great fun Its so easy to master and get a decent technique.
i hated skiing when i used my regular 1.75m ski.
one time someone gave me his snowblades (90cm) and since then i never looked back.
i'm amazed that it seems like i'm the only one here which is using this king of ski.
i read that they are very popular everywhere.
