hi, i just wanted to know what is the difrenc between the INTEL CPU's
and CELERON's because i boght celeron CPU(P4 2.93MHZ) and it was much chiper
then intel's CPU. so pleas tell my why celeron's CPU chiper ???
and if is there performence diffrenc???
and if it was the dumest thing ever to bay celeron CPU???

and another thing does the Asus P5P800 is good motherboard?

Celerons are worse, but if you are not doing heavy usage on the CPU then it doesnt matter.

intel celerons are crappy processors and should only be bought if you arent plan to do any gameing, video-editing or any other heavy procesor shit.

and yes, there is much difference in the peformance.

well they are not crap, it all depends on what you use the cpu for. I have a Celeron D 330 in my irc ideling, work PC and it works great no problems at all.

The differences are the smaller Level 2 cache (don't know about the level 1 cache), the FSB is lower at a max of FSB 533 and they don't have HT.
