Direction seems bad. For example the guys with the mounted guns instead of being shown moving violently the guns left and right hoping to shoot him they mostly shoot straight ahead. This and other choices make it look boring.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
seems like a bollywood movie but with more money behind it. looks still pretty cheap and like crap.
another proof after przepraszam's "want to buy case" thread that you can't buy style with money
When you see the name Sarik Andreasyan attached to a movie, you know it's gonna be shit. He's the Russian equivalent of Uwe Boll. Plus, it's a big red flag when our filmmakers decide to make "our own <thing popular in the US>, with blackjack and hookers!", because - you guessed it - it usually turns out terribly. The trailers look unsurprisingly awful, but if they have somehow fooled you into thinking this might be an okay movie, abandon all hope right now.
Looks like something you'd find in some AAA game. Not much in the trailers, but nothing good or remotely interesting in them either.

How fast do you expect them to react and move the guns in slow motion? Seems like a very strange complaint unless I'm missing the part where all the people in the trailer are supposed to be superhuman.
I didn't say the whole shot had to be in slow motion and in fact it wasn't. It goes in and out. The dudes firing should have been shown as trying to track him because otherwise there's absolutely no tension just the awkwardness you see in the clip.

Bear aside effects are looking good. But the movie will be shit anyway.

Is this based on existing characters? Might look a bit less ridiculous if one had read some comics/books or played some games based on this, but as it is my first instinct is to laugh at how everyone in there seems to be taking themselves seriously and playing it 100% straight.

That looks better. Some of its CG is bad (as expected) but on the other hand I wasn't expecting they'd have the money for so much CG in the first place.

Not based on existing characters. Just a delayed reply to Marvel and DC.
Major Grom (Major Thunder) on the other hand will be based on a well acclaimed comic series, which is available online in English too. They're shooting it now.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
Some of the CG shots look great, huh. Others, with the bear, not so much. And then the studio live action studio work looks bland as hell.

the cgi is not AWFUL, come on, be reasonable. most of it is quite acceptable. most things flowed quite nicely, nothing looked cheap chinese-film levels of terrible... the cgi actually looks like your average 100m american action film (in some cases, even better than that).

Yes, sorry for that. I didn't mean that bad about cgi
