|
 |
I had 12.0.0.43 and I saw that there was an urgent update to 12.0.0.44.
After installing it all my applications stalled the moment I opened up firefox. I couldn't execute any new application and any other app would crash upon interaction. Restart -> Same shit again -> Restart again -_-
Uninstalled Flash and now everything works fine again.

I have had this happen in the past for no apparent reason with random Flash versions.
Full reinstall of Flash usually fixed it for me, no clue yet why it has happened ever.

If you can't update from 43, you should disable Flash altogether for now since the hotfix is for repairing a remote control exploit.

IE11 worked fine from whatever the previous version was (.38 I think.) to the .44 hotfix yesterday but that's handled by Windows update now, for Firefox I'm already at version 13 beta so I skipped those two latest 12.x releases.

Well I am currently without flash at all. And you know what? I'll just try and see what the web is, without flash, for some time

Flash stinks. Using (arch) Linux and firefox, whenever I opened a page with 2 or more youtube videos (like the epic thread) it would freeze for a minute saying flashplugin crashed. Removed flash and installed gnash (free open source flash) and so far so good.

Videos on youtube and other flashplayers started stuttering today. I've checked the flash version -12.0.0.44. Seems to have updated itself automatically, because I can't remember anything asking me about that lately.

The Adobe Flash installer is for general purpose and other browsers (FF, OP, IE, ...). |
Flash doesn't work in chrome either after deleting it from the system.
You can't explain that!
