Loadout is an outrageus new multiplayer shooter that’s all about the guns, Baby! Build a massive variety of absolutely insane weaponry — over 50 million combinations — totally customized, totally unique, totally deadly.
You want a launcher that shoots ground-skimming rockets that explode into destructive clouds of flak? You got it!
How about a gun that shoots syringes filled with healing green glowing goo that bounces off walls? It’s done Son!
What about a remote controlled missile that sticks to enemies before destroying them in a massive blue ball of electric destruction? We got you covered.
Loadout is about total and uninhibited player expression. Craft your own guns, design your own loadout, dress your character to the nines, and play your way. Best of all? It’s absolutely free to play!
Seems to be basically TF2 (in terms of gameplay) crossed with Borderlands (number of guns and customisation).
It's going to be Free-to-play and will be released this Summer on Steam, but there's a closed beta going on right now:
All those sites are connected to the same giveaway, currently there's about 3500 keys left. You can ignore the step about following them on Facebook and it's 1 key per IP address.

This showed up in my Steam library a while back, out of nowhere. Got to play it for a bit, on the only server available at the time. It's not good. Nothing like borderlands or TF2. It's very casual and nothing to look forward to IMO.

Ah well, I don't expect much from it given that it's F2P, but I nabbed a couple of keys anyway and will prolly see if I can rally up a few friends to play with over the weekend.
Game is definitely fun. Was playing with some friends last night and we all dug it. It's not the type of game I'm going to play for hours and hours, personally. But this is the type of game I can see playing often for an hour or so at a time. I'm sure there will be people who just live on the game.
Sounds like "with fiends" is the key word there. I feel like I can play some pretty crappy games (not calling this game crappy), as long as it's with the right people.
Does anyone have a clue why this game just showed up in my library? I never entered a beta key for this. It must have been bundled with something and added later. Not that it matter much, I'm just curious.
It feels like a third person q3a/ut. Controls are excellent, visuals and character animations are great and guess what? no health regen you can also create your own weapons -sort of dead space 3 bench. It´s F2P, but you pay for cosmetics only. I played across 3 maps up to know, great level design and aesthetics.
Yea, the game is kick ass. I'm lvl 12 I think it is. Been playing it since I got in a while back. Their devs are amazingly cool as well. They actually monitor the forums actively and are very involved in the community. Great game for the lulz as well.
Your grammer is fine NaViTo (at least I don't notice it)
Thanks for the mini review(s), me and couple of friends managed to grab some keys from one of the sites on the first post. I'll be sure to give it a shot tonight
It's a casual type of FPS. It's not the type of game I want to sit and play for 8 hours, but it's fun to play a few games when you are bored. Don't get me wrong, for some it might be a game they can play all day, but it's just kind of humorous and "casual" (the skill required is anything but casual mind you, it's very skill based) FPS that is fun to play with some friends. Overall, I'm digging it.
www.gameitems.com had a few keys left yesterday... I can't get any more, but you can try it
We've discovered a security breach in the Loadout Forums. Because of this we have forced password resets. We also recommend that you change passwords on any other systems where you use the same username, email, or password.
Vbulletin, the forum software we use, has confirmed that the software contains a security hole, and we've followed their directions and corrected the issue.
The hackers may have been able to access:
- User names
- Salted password hashes
- E-mail addresses
We do not store the following data, and the hackers did NOT have access to:
- Billing or credit card info
- Steam user name or Password

With salted passwords you always have the salt, otherwise you can't know if a user entered the password correct or not. The advantage of using salts is that it's nearly impossible to use dictionary attacks.
Yea, the site getting hacked sucks. My PW was not real secure either. Had to change a lot. As for the game, no matchmaking just kills it. I'm like lvl 17 and always end up with guys who are way higher level or much better skill. I think the last one i was in had a lvl 60 and a lvl 140. Needless to say, I got pounded. Not fun at all.
