.hack//G.U. was originally a trilogy of RPGs for PlayStation 2, consisting of Vol.1 Rebirth, Vol.2 Reminisce and Vol.3 Redemption. It put the player in control of Haseo inside an action-based MMORPG called The World R:2. Last Recode will be an HD remaster of this series while also adding some brand-new features.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode will run in Full HD (1080p) and 60 frames per second. The movie scenes as well as the UI are also being remade in high definition. It will also include movies from the Terminal Disc packaged in the original .hack//G.U. Vol.1: Rebirth, as well a brand-new look for Haseo that is assumed to be when he just started entering the game.
Having included all 3 volumes in one package, features that were added in Vol.3 Redemption will be also applied to Vol.2 Reminisce and Vol.1 Rebirth. Last Recode will also have many more upgrades to the gameplay system, which you can check in the list below:

well Monolith Soft is fully owned by Nintendo since 2008 ... so its kinda unlikely to see but still the Xenosaga IP is iirc still in Bamcos hands so who knows

Exactly Monolith Soft wouldn't have a saying in this anyway.

We’ve made some huge visual enhancements! Moving from PS2 to PS4 has brought many opportunities for the developers to improve the look and feel of the game. The game has been up-scaled and is now in 16:9 1080p and at 60fps, with a lot of the cut scenes re-mastered – Making sure it stands the test of time.
I'm not sure about the fast forward features, but I believe this is the second set of .hack games. I remember playing the first game of the first series and didn't like it too terribly much
PC Specs: A Maganavox' Odyssey
Tweaked to play Frogger, Lemmings & GTA4
I remember playing this but never finishing it back in the day. This was where you had sort of email buddies and stuff yeah?
I might get this but first I must know if it has a fast forward feature because I think that is vital for all JRPGs.
I don't think fast forward is possible in a game with real time action combat.

It is and they are totally different from the old .hack games way better in my opinion.
Honestly just skip roots it really sucks, the show isn't even meant to have any development, it simply introduces some characters and the setting for the game, which is where the real development happens, it's also terrible slow,as far as i remember there are parts where just music plays for 5 min or so and other shenanigans to make it even slower..
But the game doesnt tell me why the jerk protagonist is to desperate to save shino for example. I bet there is a lot of details that will make me understand the jerk protagonist more.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
