i just checked... my monthly internet cap has been raised to 500 gb.
yeah, its still capped, but.. fuck... *happy dance*
speed still sucks though

Thats actually not a bad cap.
I regularly hit double that, but with what I run on my connection, and I also grab stuff for my parents (who in turn download it from me) I would like to think if it were just me I could easily live on 500GB if I had a cap.
Its still a cap though

honestly, with 500, i wouldnt know what to do with it. i hardly have huge amounts of free hdd space, and there just isnt that much shit worth downloading that is new, and i cant really think of much 'older' stuff i need to catch up on or replace in HD. also im a pretty slow/deliberately paced gamer, so i dont download that many games per month either...
at this point, im going to have to start downloading stuff JUST to delete it, to make use of this cap... and im very happy about that!

As I said I think 500GB would cover me easily without the 'extra' activities.
And thats all my Movies and TV shows, plus my parents (who are fracking terrible for downloading all 8 bloody seasons of something at once, albeit in SD).
I dont game too much, so thats not an issue. So 500GB is doable in most circumstances I would imagine, and 'we' are high usage I would imagine compared to your average user.
Do they could upload towards the cap over there ? I know with my ISP its only the download that used to be counted (they went 'unlimited' a couple of years ago)

I got fast net on the 17th last month, and in that time I made ~150GB. I'm anxious to see what my data will be when series start xD

Those beautiful caps. Once I had a 90h cap and with my first ADSL line I had a cap of 5GB. Felt so great to have better bandwidth but couldn't use it properly (and the ping was even worse than I was used to with ISDN).
