|
 |
So I'm updating my 360 collection with artwork and stuff from time to time via Gadabama and I really don't understand why games deleted in FSD3 still show up in Gadabama and all DLCs (also deleted) too. I have like 15 games and 66 items in Gadabama...
So far the only solution is to use that ContentItems little tool that deletes those 'ghost' games and DLCs once and for all from FSD3's db.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

i will EXPLAIN the thing that also BOGGLED my mind ... when you delete your game ... you delete the files .... but not the Directory Folder that has the number name ... making FSD think you still have it so it will still have the ICON ... so check what it what and edit that db and then plug that xbox to PC and delete those empty folders with a FTP explorer... or plug that hdd to PC and delete those empty folders

No FSD3 should ignore empty folders, are you plugging/unplugging the drive in the deletion process ?

I meant do you unplug the drive after a game was deleted and reboot console and then plug in ? Since if you are doing that FSD losses track of cache of files its deleted.

Happens to me regularly as well. I don't really care, I just reset the DB every once in a while

I hate this about FSD3. It's annoying to have the DB file deleted. I don't remember this happening on FSD2 though. Why isn't there a proper fucking Game Manager on 360 akin to multiMAN for PS3?

I never plug/unplug while the console is on. And I'm sure the HDD stayed plugged for days during which I deleted some games and the console was turned on and off multiple times. It still loses track of its folders.
Ok so I guess I'll have to stick with that ContentItems (link) tool then.
