I've been playing the PS3 version.. it's actually not that bad. Feels like a low-budget title, but it's fun.

Nice game, got it for free too (Somewhat, Gamersgate "Blue Coin" currency generated from earlier purchases, handy for low-priced games like this one.) but I can't find much to complain about, no voice acting but that's not a issue at all.

Mix of RPG and adventure, turn based combat, dialogue choices, inventory, character customization, party members and a number of NPC's, quests and locations to explore. Smile
(Most players will likely create and customize a female faery though, haha.)

Tages (It says SecuROM on Gamersgate but that's incorrect.) online activation, unsure what exact engine it uses, semi-cartoon like visual style but I have no idea what it uses, little customization but resolution, vsync and post-processing can be enable or disabled (Or was it some other settign and not vsync?)

PhysX support as well but seems to be via software.

It's not all that awesome looking but I enjoy the artistic direction they've done, level is a bit barren but it's explained as being semi-dead so maybe later maps will be far better detailed.

Numerous chests (items, potions and such.) to discover by exploring and also a number of NPC and thus quests to do so I find it pretty enjoyable so far.

Can also customize your character as you level up with new skills or rather metamorphosis such as changing wings, growing a tail, horns or tattoo or aura abilities, often passive enhancements or a choice of spells.
(Butterfly, bird or dragonfly wings as a choice for level 2 for example, butterfly which I ended up with despite it's somewhat silly look gives a lighting spell with high damage and chance of critical damage, dragonfly which is what I would have preferred was a weaker fireball spell over two turns and bird wings which you start with though without extras was a tornado spell, each can also be further upgraded to be more potent, tattoo in turn which I got shortly after was for boost in either damage or health and the aura can either heal one other party member with the light choice or a full group though at less effect initially with the wasp choice.)

Items also get set bonuses, have a number of healing, fire and earth based items so far which enhance those types of spells but also nearly a full set of currently equipped iron gear which improves general damage and poison, just need to find the boots somewhere.

Responses as seen in one image can sometimes branch off should you want to be more evil (And disliked by that NPC.) or positive (I got my companion to like me enough to hand over a bracelet type armor part.) but I don't know what further uses it might have to be more negative and critic instead.

Maps are also fairly open although with a separate dungeon or two it seems, can explore and fly around most anywhere to find different things or groups of enemies, getting close triggers a combat scene and then turn based attack mode were you initially select one action (Attack, cast spell, defend or similar.) but can later chain up more of them (I can do two stronger lighting attacks in a row which helped a lot on some more difficult enemies now by leveling up further.) interesting choice to use a turn based and separate combat mode as well but I don't find it bad at all, more room for tactics and thinking that way. Smile

Runs well but is pretty light in sound effects as said, no voice acting but I'm used to it in older text-only RPG's or lightly voiced games such as Morrowind (Though that had a number of unique NPC responses for all sorts of situations such as being skilled in one attribute or ability or being naked or progressed far in a guild, I found much of this was missing in Oblivion and only partially restored in Fallout, then removed in New Vegas again, hah.)

No idea how modern Tages versions works but it seems they can be cracked seeing Reloaded's recent releases, similar to recent SecuROM 8 protected titles in a way but I don't know if a similar loader method or bypass or whatever it's called is done on both or if they take the time to actually remove the DRM/copy protection fully.

Honestly, it's not bad. Obviously not supaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar AAA... but definitely fun and worth checking out. I love the upgrade system, where you can choose how your creature (not just fairies, but other mythical creatures too) evolve. It's like a jRPG turn-based "EVO- Search For Eden"

I wish more indie/budget limited devs drop VA completely so they can focus on something else. VA is usually total shit anyway.

Actually I am with Sabin on this one...It's a pretty fun game with nice gfx and fun gameplay...it can be annoying when not in combat due to the weird fly controls but for an indie game it's definitely something worthwhile. It's also quite big so thats a plus for me...

There is no cover system, no health regen and no sex cards, I'll skip this one! lol wut

In all seriousness, for a low budget game it's quite nice and fun.
