Ok it installs through daemon tools but wont run through daemon tools it complains about " emulated software in use " , this is with Bus name hacks and regedit hacks so it knows if an image is being used not a CD. Also i noticed when installing through daemon tools when the install is 100% complete a blue bar loads across aftewards and all these services start popping up so i quit that by ctrl alt del killing the bar!

and all the services vanished bar one UASERVICE7.EXE which is securom, but loading from CD worked first time with lastest blindwrite and fastest speed

--

This game is really cool , so easy to use and love the little bits of comedy in it!

Shit i like this better than republic commano

I'll second Anime Admins post about the game not working when mounted, tryed it earlier this morning and it locked up my pc. Had to do a hard reset just to close the pc down.

Im kind of not surprised though saw an interview with the makers of these protections recently and they mention that they check forums like this constantly to secure against the various workarounds - I guess I'll just burn this later on in no hurry to play anyway. Wink

edit.....works great burn't from the disc even on the cheapest/crappiest cd media that I could get my hands on which surprised me with it being a clone, game is great as well - I hear its very short from reviews but it should be fun whilst it lasts and alot of unlockable characters/replay value plus the 2 player co-op Very Happy

the games works! Very Happy the protection is securom ,you would burn 4x with blindwrite or

1. Open Regedit
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices
3. Right click the folder, and click PERMISSIONS.
4. Click on ADMINISTRATORS
5. Look for the READ box, and select DENY
6. Click OK

mounted it without any problems

bye

what did you mount with ?

i converted the files to bin & cue and it worked. i mounted it on daemon tools and installed it. but it needs a crack to play beacuse the game detected a emulation. i tried the regedit but it didnt work

How the hell do you save in the game? I managed to do it once but dont know what I did. I think theres an autosave function so you dont lose your data but still... Same problem as with the demo though, settings arent saved.

Heh, people are having the same problems as with Snowblind. That would mean that certain users should get it burnt ok and working with saving.

In the PS2 version, there was auto save, everytime you see Yoda's face on the screen it is auto saving the game. Thats how it is for PS2, im sure it's the same for PC.

I'm Getting the PC version now.

yeah it just auto saves upon completion of a level and then if you want to replay a level or pick up where you left off you just use the "diner" to access them.

Im about 5/6 of the way through the game and I only played for a few hours, the in game humour is great and its very faithful to the films plus theres a lot to unlock not just the characters theres stuff like moustaches for your characters and silly blasters. Laughing

The gameplay is broken up as well with different style levels not just the running and jumping that you played on the demo theres a pod race level, a rail gunner level like something out of panzer dragoon orta and an old style isometric shooter level along the lines of viewpoint.
