Platinum Games is developing The Legend of Korra, a third-person combat game based on the Nickelodeon TV show.
The Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Bayonetta 2 studio and Activision will launch its downloadable Legend of Korra game this fall on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
Korra scribe Tim Hendrick is writing the story, which takes place between The Legend of Korra’s second and third seasons. As the series' leading lady, players will use the Avatar's fire, earth, air, and water elements in combat to fight familiar enemies such as Mecha Tanks and Chi Blockers, as well as other Benders in the 3-on-3 Pro-Bending arena.
Look for more on Platinum's The Legend of Korra game, including our hands-on impressions, later this week.
Ofc it will be a 3-4 hour game like MGR but i think that's ok since it will probably have a lot of replay value.
I just started on the show so i don't really know that mutch about the story.I heard the series took a nosedive in season 2 but the episodes from season 1 i watched so far where pretty good. It seems a lot like the first series so far which i really like despite it beeing a lot more childish then most real animes.

Its nowhere near as good as Avatar.... That's its main problem and yes Season 2 was weak.
To be honest, both seasons were pretty subpar. But alas, it's pretty hard to do a better follow-up to ATLA, especially when it comes to plot and whatnot. Visually, sure, it looks better, but the characters are kind of bad, ESPECIALLY Mako. And poor Asami. Perhaps season 3 will be better, I already have the leaked episodes on my HDD, just need the first three. Maybe the game will be good, maybe not, but Platinum did not disappoint until now.

Last episodes are visually stunning, but it goes downhill from Beginnings. Not trying to spoil or anything, but it had the worst, THE WORST season finale.

The killed off Mask guy and bro too soon. 2nd season was MEH. Heroine is an idiot. Avatar was better but you know still an enjoyable show. They could have done a First Avatar season instead.
I really liked ATLA but this show never sat right with me. I think mainly it was because the main character here isn't as endearing as Aang and
there's something completely putting off about her. Plus it is a Platinum game, you can't expect anything longer than a 6 hour campaign from them

I actually like it a lot more then ATLA so far maybe cause it's darker in tone then it, the season 3 finale last week was fantastic.
Kinda hope that Platinum can ovecome the Activision's licence games style
i read some interview with dev of that TMNT batman-clone game on how bad conditions they had during development (Activision pushed ridiculous deadlines to finish by regardless of completeness and quality - iirc that game was done in 6 months)
The Good
Bending looks cool
Pro-bending matches are reasonably fun
The Bad
Throwaway story fails the source material in every way
Repetitive boss fights
Lots of careless details sully the combat encounters
Uninspired runner segments
IGN:
+Combat Animations
-Awful story
– Terrible item store
– Combat scenario design
– Dull minigames
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
