i dont wanna be the first to say it but it looks ugly. im gonna try it though because something so bad to be released now has to be a gamble.
edit: just looked at the nfo, it says protection none and i dont see a serial. maybe we can try this online? i hope so

ok here goes..... first of all i changed the settings u know 1024 very high textures etc. i hit alt+enter (window because that's how i like to play my games) anyway it goes to a 400x or sumthin size window so i think hmmmmm ok nvm im not doin much so i'll play full screen. start the game..... commander comes on your mission etc...... with a pretty bad "stuttering" effect.... i think ok not a problem get in the game and remember his last words "you will have the element of surprise until the first shots are fire" so i think cool, a bit of stealth too. as soon as i climb up the ladder an enemy not that far away from me (about 20 meters) i have to shoot him (of course) so there goes the element of surprise. i advanced through and then i hit a dead end... hmmmmm i see a keypad there but no card (turns out it was in a room) ok i have the "note" that wont work........ turns out its for a SAFE! so even moire hurrying down corridors (doesn't take long because doors you can open are a dif colour) so i get my keycard and advance further, a few lefts and rights and ive done the mission. hmmmm ok............ kinda short but ok. so then (idk if its mission to or mission 1 part b probably part b) my new "mission" is to stop the oil platform from exploading so u enter the game in the same room u were just in and hmmmm where have the hostages gone? i hit some keys by accident and the game sounds went off, menu sounds worked but guns etc. didnt so i closed it and came to write this.
i noticed a few annoying glitches with this game such as climbing ladders and crap AI. Some nice features are that you can search dead bodies and that the items are hidden in other places (a set of keys was hanging on a clothes peg) but that's about it. The map was very linear and the graphics pretty bad, i wouldn't say terrible or an eye sore but they weren't very nice. another annoying thing was the interaction..... on doors you press the F key to open them etc.... but of course you can only open certain doors / draws etc. so it ckinda takes the fun outta it. another thing is it takes say 5 seconds to search a body but 2 secods to pick up a set of keys from a clothes peg.
I tried multiplayer but it wouldn't find a server plus had a pretty bad menu.
hint for players: when playin and ur stuck go to the objectives menu (tab) and click an objective, instead of being normal this game decides to "hide" the sub objectives / hints in this manner.
edit: well just got back from playing again, turns out the "sound" problem happens on EVERY level, requires a full exit programme to get it loading again. i'm on level 4 now and each mission takes about 5 minutes, yes the rescue hostages and stop the platform from burning up were 2 levels) i'm gonna complete this game (shouldn't be long its not hard) then emergency will be ready just in time . o 1 more thing there was an explosion of a barrell which lagged the game for about a second, it says it usues a modified unreal championship engine but i never noticed it couldn't handle simple unimpressive things like that. 1 more thing when u kill an enemy 9 times outta 10 the legs will remain the same way with feet rigidly flat, poor attention to detail really.

I just want to say, welcome back Money, they have been a little "out of the game", cause they last "good" release was Moment of Silence in the 02-03-05. After that they released Midnight Outlaw Six Hours To Sun Up, but well i think that was a little shot in their own foot.
This in other hand looks kind of good and i will give it a try.

well that patch works thanks shame i was on level 9 when i got it (does work though)
so yea i completed it pretty short game. well VERY short actually. nothing more to add really except the ai isn't AMAZINGLY bad just REALLY bad, they do limp off when hurt, other than that its pretty crap. i tried a mp game with bots, you could see them in the radar (wtf!!?!?!?) i found 1 internet server but no1 was on it so i couldnt tell if u could see others on the radar, i also couldn't see my ping when on the server. All in all 2/10

groove games value titles are better than activision value ones and they know how to make a cheap but somehow entertaining game i am saying this because of the jungle missions, it hasnt been their first, other past value packs had this like sharp marine series and others. its a cheap game, non extraordinary but still worth a look.

try running the directx, it wont remove the 9.0c but might have some files that are required.

Its like soldier of fortune 2 three years after, not that i'm saying that is better than sof2, not even equal it could be less but nowadays programming can make a game like sof2 (2-cd's) into one or less cd!!! total difference but think!!!. i saw combat trailer and the music is good, the engine aint bad but not good its respectable for a thin game. its a value title but it aint from activision value and thats the good news.

It's based on the unreal engine, yes it's good but it's dated. The sound wasn't that good really either.
